After retiring from the University of Minnesota, I began teaching German at the YMCA in Hudson. During my time there, I initiated a German program from the ground up, offering classes for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students. Unfortunately, in April 2020, the classes were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Adapting to the circumstances, I transitioned to Zoom and started teaching German for the 3M Language Society.  I use my skills and experiences to share the German language and heritage with 3Mers. Currently, I lead beginner and discussion classes, fostering language learning and cultural exploration among participants.
