From Research: For more than 25 years, I worked at the University of Minnesota, exploring protein structure and dynamics in the heart muscle. I was fortunate to collaborate with wonderful colleagues, to help train the next generation of scientists, and to publish extensively in peer-reviewed journals.

To Language: While this chapter of my life was rooted in science, it also shaped my curiosity and love for teaching. Today, that same curiosity continues, only now it finds expression in language, culture, and everyday exploration.
